My specialty as a tutor is helping students improve the skills they need to do well on standardized testing. I have the necessary experience to help my students succeed. In high school, I was able to ace the SAT while I was taking nine AP courses. At the University of Chicago, I developed exceptional skills in critical reading and writing. I've learned ways to pass on those skills to the students I tutor, either individually or in groups, no matter their age or background.I tutor ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, European History, Public Speaking, Religious Studies, English, and Social Studies. I also tutor AP-level courses in art,  history, and music, as well as IB Extended Essay. I can also help students prepare for standardized tests like the ACT, PSAT, SSAT, SAT, and ISEE.In my spare time, I enjoy music, cooking, and philosophy.
